Velmira — Terms of Service

Effective: 2026-08-16 · Contact: support@velmira.io

1. Agreement

These Terms are between you and Trelinx Pte Ltd ("we", "us"), a Singapore private limited company (UEN 202601108H) at 60 Paya Lebar Road #06-28 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051. By creating an account or using Velmira, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Velmira.

2. What Velmira is — please read this one

Velmira is a wellness and educational tool for tracking your own health information. It records what you tell it and shows it back to you.

Velmira does not practise medicine. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything. It does not tell you what to take, how much, or when to change anything. Nothing in Velmira — including anything the assistant says, any trend it shows, and any observation about how close together two doses fall — is medical advice, and none of it replaces a qualified clinician.

You are responsible for your own health decisions. Always talk to a licensed professional before starting, stopping or changing any medication, supplement or protocol.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service. Velmira is not for emergencies, and its reminders must never be relied on as a safety-critical system.

3. Reminders are best-effort

Velmira schedules reminders through your phone's operating system. They can be late or missed for reasons we don't control — the phone is off, the battery died, notifications are turned off, the system restricts background activity, the clock or timezone changed, or the app hasn't been opened in a long time.

Don't rely on Velmira as your only way of remembering a dose. We work hard to keep reminders accurate, but we can't guarantee any particular one arrives.

4. Your account

You must be at least 18. Keep your sign-in secure and don't share your account. You sign in with the account you connected when you registered, so keeping access to that account is what keeps you able to reach your data.

Store your recovery codes and your account key somewhere safe. If you lose access to the account you sign in with, an unused recovery code together with your account key — both shown when the codes were created — is the way back into Velmira. Each code works once. We keep only one-way hashes of the codes, so we genuinely cannot show them to you again or recover them for you: if you lose the codes while you can still sign in, create a new set in the app; if you have lost both your sign-in and your codes, we cannot restore your access.

Tell us at support@velmira.io if you think someone else has got into your account, or if you have lost access to the account you sign in with.

5. Your content is yours

You keep ownership of everything you put into Velmira. You give us only the permission we need to store it, process it, and show it back to you, and to run the features you use — nothing more. We don't sell it and we don't use it for advertising.

6. Subscriptions

Some features need a paid subscription, billed through the app store, which handles your payment details — we never see your card. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you cancel through your app store account rather than through us. Refunds follow the app store's policy. If prices change, we'll tell you in advance.

If your subscription starts with a free trial, the trial runs for the length shown on the subscription screen when you start it, and unless you cancel before it ends it turns into a paid subscription automatically — your app store then charges you the price shown there, and keeps charging it each period until you cancel. Cancelling in your app store account at any point during the trial means you are not charged. The app stores allow one free trial per store account, and a trial may be offered on some plans and not others.

Safety-related features are never behind a paywall. Whatever you pay, the features that exist to keep you safe stay available.

7. Fair use

Please don't: use Velmira for someone else without their informed permission; try to reach another user's data; probe, scan or attack the service; reverse engineer it except where the law allows; scrape or automate it; upload anything unlawful; or resell it or pass its output off as clinical advice.

8. Changes to the service

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We'll give reasonable notice before a material change that takes away something you rely on, and we won't delete your health data as part of such a change without telling you first and leaving you time to ask us for a copy of it.

How you get a copy. Velmira has no download-your-data button yet. Write to support@velmira.io and we will put a copy together for you and send it to you. We check that the request really comes from you before we send anything.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account any time in the app. Deletion runs on the timeline in the Privacy Policy — a 14-day grace period, then permanent erasure. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or is used unlawfully.

Deleting the app from your phone is not the same as deleting your account.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Velmira is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reminders will always arrive.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.

Nothing here excludes liability that can't lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some places don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes go to the courts of Singapore — without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live, if local law gives you one.

12. Changes to these Terms

We'll tell you in the app about material changes. Continuing to use Velmira after a change means you accept it.
